PEPPERELL — Lenora F. (Melendy) Bouchard, age 75, a longtime resident of Pepperell, died September 5, at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, N.H., after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Nashua, N.H., on July 24, 1935, a daughter of the late Ernest and Yetive (Penniman) Melendy. Lenora was educated in the Pepperell school system. She was a former member of the 4th of July Committee in Pepperell. She was a loving Mom, Sister, Grandma and Great-Grandma. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, just talking and playing cards. Lenora enjoyed boat rides, feeding bear cubs and watching birds.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Mota and her husband Roger of Clinton, Utah; and Margo Amorelli and her husband Marc of Goffstown, N.H.; a sister, Thelma Bernier and her husband Ray of Dublin, N.H.; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Amanda, Roger, Madison, and James; two great-grandchildren, Chance and Angelina; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Melendy Jr., and a sister, Ruthie Melendy.
A graveside service was held Sept. 9 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Heald Street, Pepperell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friends of Animals, 777 Post Road, Darien, CT 06820.
