I have known Sheila Harrington for many years, and can say firsthand that she is absolutely the best candidate to be our representative in the Statehouse.
Sheila is a responsible, selfless and caring person who is running to serve the people, not herself. As a practicing attorney in our area for the past 19 years, Sheila has fought for her clients’ rights. She has used her mediating and negotiating skills to bring people together and settle disputes. As a legislator, Sheila will be able to effectively work with the other representatives and pass legislation that will help to bring back jobs to our area.
Sheila understands the needs of the First Middlesex District and promises to fight for jobs, lower taxes and to bring back common sense to our Statehouse. It is true that Sheila has never held a political position, which is one of the many reasons why I am voting for her. Experienced politicians have fought for themselves on Beacon Hill for decades. Now is the time to elect people to bring reform and fiscal responsibility to our government.
From day one Sheila will fight for you and your family, not for herself. We need a leader who won’t put up with politics as usual, who will fight to reform the pension system, who will fight for lower taxes and who will fight for job growth.
At the recent debate sponsored by the Pepperell Business Association, I had the opportunity to listen to each candidate’s views on the issue of reducing government spending and pension reform. On this topic Sheila is the only candidate that has volunteered to opt out of the government pension program. Sheila is “WALKING the TALK” and is open to looking at the broader scope of reform and is not focused on quick fixes.
