I take issue with the comment my fellow Selectman Gary Luca makes when he says my account of the facts on the accomplishments of Connie Sullivan are inaccurate.
For the record, the accounts listed in my letter of endorsement are taken from the Ayer Town Reports, the very same reports that Selectman Luca was signatory to during his tenure.
I would also caution on electing anyone without the necessary experience to be our representative, as Selectman Luca suggests.
Selectman Luca seems to equate experience with corruption.
When one reads my endorsement thoroughly the fact that Connie was the one common thread in each of these achievements comes through.
I acknowledge the fact that a 3- and then 5-member board and ultimately the citizens of Ayer made these things a reality.
Connie Sullivan has the ability to work all members of local government. In my opinion, his experience is the key to success and Connie Sullivan has the experience needed to be our state representative.
