PEPPERELL — The “Welcome Back from Summer & Plant Swap” meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m., at the Pepperell Senior Center on Route 111 in Pepperell.

The new president, Nancy Hennessy, along with Vice President Kathy Batchelder will be installed. Many new and ongoing projects will be discussed.

The main attraction will be the popular members’ plant swap of perennials, ground covers and more. Members are encouraged to pot up healthy plants to exchange. Take home a new plant to try in your garden!

With the return of cooler weather and the rain, the fall is an excellent time to plant perennials, shrubs and trees.

The native plants always do best as they are perfectly suited to our climate.

The public is warmly welcomed to all meetings. We encourage new members to join and enjoy a new year ahead full of informative programs, meeting new friends and community beautification.

For further information contact Nancy at 978-433-5133.
