The Groton Interfaith Council fosters understanding, respect, justice and peace among people of a variety of religious traditions through worship, fellowship, education, and service. On Tuesday, Sept. 7, the Council will celebrate Ramadan by hosting a Break-the-Fast Pot Luck Supper at the Union Congregational Church. The event will begin at 7 and will include comments from Shua Arshad who will explain some of the traditions around Ramadan.

Lately, there has been a lot of discussion about Islam in the news. On behalf of the Groton Inter-Faith Council, I invite you to join us for this event, meet some interesting people, and learn a little bit at the same time.
