PEPPERELL — Diane M. (Murphy) Kelley of Pepperell (formerly of Douglas) died Monday, Aug. 30, after a brief battle with cancer at Brigham and Women’s Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Paul E. Kelley, to whom she was married for 30 years.

Born in Natick on Aug. 2, 1962, she was the daughter of Bernard and Edith (Muise) Murphy of Haverhill, New Hampshire.

Diane graduated from Ashland High School in 1980. She was employed for many years at Edelstein & Company LLP of Boston. For a short time, she owned and operated Puppy World in Whitinsville and Lost World Pets in Uxbridge with her husband Paul. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Also a huge fan of all things Disney, she developed and maintained, a website dedicated to helping others make the most of their visits to Walt Disney World. She was very involved with charities, volunteering at the local food pantry, and hand-crocheting blankets for homeless shelters. She enjoyed traveling and loved animals — especially her little love, Ariel, a mini-dachshund.

Diane was blessed with two sons, Jonathan Kelley of South Royalton, Vermont and Jason Kelley of Pepperell. She is survived by two sisters, Peggy Gelina and her husband Paul of Pepperell, and Karen Rediker of South Royalton, Vermont; and one brother, Bernard Murphy and his wife Cindy of Douglas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
