Conway Chevrolet forges seasonlong partnership to aid Pepperell soccer

PUBLISHED: | UPDATED:

PEPPERELL — In the spirit of community collaboration and teamwork taught through youth sports, Conway Chevrolet-Buick Inc. is supporting Pepperell Soccer through the Chevrolet Youth Soccer program. This sponsorship will include both monetary and equipment donations during the fall 2010 youth soccer season.

Chevrolet Youth Soccer is a grass-roots initiative that establishes a positive relationship between local dealers and the communities they serve. Conway Chevrolet-Buick Inc. is sponsoring Pepperell soccer as a part of Chevrolet’s nationwide commitment to support youth sports, one community at a time.

Over the course of the season, Conway Chevrolet-Buick Inc. will donate equipment to the league, such as soccer balls, ball bags, score books, field cones, coaches kits, corner flags, scrimmage vests, and first-aid kits.

Each sponsored league will take part in the Chevrolet Youth Soccer Breakaway Giveaway, which is a fundraiser that can earn each league up to $10,000.

The giveaway features a grand prize of a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, in addition to other prizes such as high-definition televisions, courtesy of the local Chevrolet dealership.

Also, thanks to Conway Chevrolet-Buick Inc. and other participating area Chevrolet dealers, league participants will have a chance to attend Chevrolet Youth Soccer instructional clinics in their area.

“We are looking forward to a great season with Pepperell soccer that will be filled with exciting games and an enhanced experience for the teams through the equipment and cash donations,” said Dick Conway, of Conway Chevy Buick Inc.

“Chevrolet youth soccer is just one example of how committed our dealership is to supporting the youth and families in our community.”

The 2010 program will provide assistance to 200 leagues in the Northeastern region. Chevrolet dealers will contribute more than $400,000 in monetary and equipment donations.
