From the Ayer Business Alliance…
Classic Car Nights
Sponsored by the Ayer Downtown Business Alliance with assistance from Gervais Ford, Ayer takes place the third Wednesday of every month through September from 6 to 8 p.m., or until the sun goes down! Taste the hot dogs and hamburgers for sale. Hear the oldies tunes. See the beautiful classic cars and spread the word. All are welcome. Money raised fund the alliance’s year-round activities downtown.
Fourth Thursdays: Seeking artists
There is also something NEW in town. Starting June 24, on the fourth Thursday of every month there will be an Art Walk down Main Street, Central Ave. and Park Street. Everyone’s invited to attend, take a walk around and view the artists’ work. Artists are asked to get a hold of someone from the Ayer Business Alliance or go to WWW.SHOPAYER.COM to get a registration form. This is a new event to Ayer with hopes it will grow into something big.
Open Mike Night: Looking for musicians
If you love music, we are starting an Open Mike Night at the Billiards Cafe at 39 Main St., Ayer. We’re looking for musicians and people in general to attend. It’s going to be a full night of local musicians doing what they do best: Entertaining. Calvin is going to put all appetizers on sale for half-price for everyone to kick it all off. This Open Mike Night will be held every second Wednesday of the month and starts at 7 p.m. Bring as many friends and relatives as you like and make it a great time for all.
