FEMA: Flood assistance information for residents and businesses

Dear Harvard residents:

FEMA is set up to take and process damage claims for any homeowner or business that sustained damage during the March and April floods. Below is an excerpt from one of Gov. Patrick’s press releases that will provide information on how and where to apply. We have attached copies of fliers we recently received from FEMA regarding the application process. If you have any questions please contact FEMA.

“Individuals and business owners who sustained losses in the designated counties (Essex, Middlesex, Worcester, Suffolk, Norfolk, Plymouth and Bristol counties) continue to be encouraged to initiate the application process for assistance by calling the FEMA Teleregistration numbers: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired, or by registering online at www.fema.gov. The toll-free Teleregistration numbers will operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week until further notice.”

Harvard school directory

The Harvard school directory team will be working during the summer to update the data and add new families. We hope to distribute the directory as early as possible in the new school year, but in order to do this we need your help:

* Please notify us of any changes to your family’s information; address, telephone number, e-mail.

* Notify us of any errors in the current directory.

* Pass this mail onto any new families in your neighborhood with school age children.

* Join our team: We are looking to hand the directory over to a new team next year.

Please e-mail this information to: jayne.cadman@charter.net or contact Suzanne Dutkewych 978-456-8605 or Jayne Cadman 978-772-5384
