Lowell author, Nashoba Publishing reporter to appear at Barnes & Noble: Pierre Comtois will be at Barnes & Noble, 151 Merrimack St., Lowell, to sign his new book, “Marvel Comics in the 1960s: An Issue by Issue Field Guide to a Pop Culture Phenomenon.” The book is heavily illustrated with archival photos and original art from the comics. Comtois will have samples on hand of his other books, including “Sometimes A Warm Rain Falls,” a young-adult novel about growing up in Lowell during the 1960s, “The Way the Future Was,” a collection of science-fiction stories, “Strange Company,” a mystery novel set during the Revolutionary War, and “The Portable Comtois,” which features Comtois’ published short stories and articles.
