The Ayer Rotary Club has awarded its annual college scholarships to two high-school seniors graduating this spring. The recipient of the $2,000 Lucile Tucker Memorial Scholarship is Cassie Huff of Shirley, a senior at Ayer High School. The recipient of the $2,000 Mario Barba Memorial Scholarship is Megan Harrington of Harvard, a senior at the Bromfield School.

“The Ayer Rotary Club is pleased to present these scholarships to two outstanding students who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to service to the community, which is the primary purpose of Rotary. We congratulate Cassie and Megan, and we thank everyone who supports Rotary fundraisers, which are the source of funds for these annual scholarships,” said William Ennis, president of the Ayer Rotary Club.
