Hildreth Elementary School will be having our Second Annual Earthday Walk to School Day Challenge to celebrate Massachusetts Walk to School day on Wednesday, May 5. All students and families attending Hildreth Elementary School can participate in this great event even if you do not live within walking distance to school.

This year we will be having two walking school buses, which will converge on Hidreth Elementary School. One leaving from the triangle at Bolton Road and Armstrong Road, the other at Carlson’s Orchards. Can’t walk that day, why not carpool? Save energy and spend time with your friends at the same time.

You know you don’t have to wait for Walking Wednesdays to walk to school. You can choose any day! Just invite a few of your school buddies to meet up at a friend’s house near to town center for a fun breakfast together. Then head down to school in a safe group with one or all of your parents in tow. It’s a great way to save energy, stay fit and start your day off on the right foot literally.

If you can’t make our walk on May 5, save the date for Wednesday, June 2 and we can do it all again.
