GROTON — Five members of the Groton-Dunstable Regional High School Class of 2011 will represent American Legion Post No. 55 at Massachusetts Boys State to be held at Stonehill College from June 12 to 18. The five delegates are: Sean Sullivan, Anthony Binder, James DiCeasare, Tyler Charlantini, and George Killian. Sullivan is a Dunstable resident, and the others are from Groton.

Boys State has been a program of the American Legion since 1935 and is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high- school students. Activities include legislative sessions, law- enforcement presentations, assemblies, bands, chorus, and recreational programs. According to Post 55 Commander, Joe Fischetti, “The Post is very proud of these delegates based on their past achievements and future potential. They are truly tomorrow’s leaders.” The five delegates were competitively selected following a rigorous screening and interview process.
