PEPPERELL — A trio of break-in related incidents were reported to police on the weekend of April 10 and 11.

A break-in that resulted in the theft of an undisclosed number of “household items” was reported from a Wheeler Street home, on the morning of Saturday, April 10. Items were also reported stolen from a car on Wheeler Street the following morning, and Police Chief David Scott said the incidents could well be linked

“It is very likely that these two incidents are related, due to their similar timeframes and close proximity,” he wrote, in an e-mail comment.

An attempted break-in at a home on Merrimac Drive at approximately 10:20 p.m. on April 10 was reported, but Scott said the timeframe on that report was more questionable. It’s unclear if that case is related to the other two.
