The Second Annual Ken Blanchette Scholarship Fund Poker Tournament will be held on Sunday, April 11 at the Bull Run Restaurant, 215 Great Road, Shirley, MA. Registration will start at noon and the tournament will start at 12:30.
The proceeds will benefit deserving student-athletes from Ayer High School, the Bromfield School, Groton-Dunstable Regional High School, and North Middlesex Regional High School. The entry fee is $75 with $50 returned in the prize pool, and $25 going to the fund. There will also be a 50/50 raffle during the tournament.
First prize last year was $1000 with over $2500 handed out in the prize pool. The scholarships will be handed out at Nashoba Publishing Sports Night on May 24. Please come out and play for a good time and to help support the local student-athletes.
