Stu Sklar has earned our vote for re-election to the School Committee. He has been School Committee representative to the Suburban Coalition for three years — this year its treasurer and secretary. He spends hours at the Legislature representing the coalition and works well with Jamie Eldridge and Jen Benson. Stu promoted and helped negotiations to secure K-5 contract with Devens that brought over $500,000 to our schools. All involved pointed how much this helped our school budget. He helped insure Harvard its minimum Chapter 70 funding. Stu is the longest serving member of the present school committee. He has been School Committee representative to the Bromfield School Council this year and last year to the elementary school council. Stu has been a soccer coach for eight years has a child in fourth grade and eighth grade. Keep Stu on the School Committee.
