SIRLEY — Patricia E. (Corley) Walters, 85, a former longtime resident of Front Street, died Monday, Feb. 22 at Health Alliance – Leominster Hospital.

Mrs. Walters was born in Fitchburg, June 3, 1924, a daughter of Clarence T. and Exilda C. (Caouette) Corley and was a lifelong Shirley resident. She had attended Saint Anthony’s Church in Shirley.

Mrs. Walters had worked as a quality control inspector at New England Business Service in Groton, retiring in 1986. Prior to that she had worked at Warren Manufacturing in Littleton and the Hartnett Tannery in Ayer.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Annabelle M. and Jack Byrne of Lunenburg, three grandchildren, Jack Byrne, Michael Byrne and his wife, Susan, Melissa Walters and one great grandson, Nathan Byrne.

A springtime graveside service will be held at Village Cemetery, Shirley. There are no calling hours.
