The Concerts at the Common series presents Chad R. Bowles, internationally acclaimed pianist, on Sunday, March 14 at 4 p.m. at the Harvard Unitarian Church, 9 Ayer Road, at the top of the Harvard Common. Music of Joseph Haydn, Enrique Granados, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Franz Liszt, and Vincenzo Bellini/Franz Liszt will be performed. Tickets $18. Refreshments.
Chad has performed in cities in Europe, Canada and the United States, as a soloist and chamber musician. He is routinely hailed for his infectious enthusiasm and exacting virtuosity. Born in Stoughton, Mr. Bowles holds a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of New Hampshire, and both a master’s degree and the graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Md. His primary teachers include Fred Moyer and legendary American pianist Earl Wild. His recent Haydn C.D will be available for sale.
