AYER — The Board of Selectmen and Parks Commission will meet in joint session on Jan. 5 at 7:15 p.m. to appoint a parks commissioner to serve until the annual election in April.
The vacancy resulted from the passing of Bruce Page, who was the longest-tenured member of the Commission. Anyone interested in the position is encouraged to submit a brief letter-of-interest to parks@ayer.ma.us, or by calling the Parks Commission office at 978-772-8217.
