Live performance: 8 p.m. Pepperell Music Center will be holding a live performance of Pink Floyd’s “Dark side of the Moon” and other songs. Tickets are on sale now at Pepperell Music Center or by calling 978-433-8247. This show is to benefit the band programs in Pepperell’s elementary and middle schools. This is an all ages performance. Pepperell Music Center, 4 Hotel Place, Pepperell.

Prescott Grange: Prescott Grange at 12 Park Street, is holding a craft and gift workshop from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.Tables will offer materials and instruction on making wreaths, birdfeeders, holiday cards and many other decorations and gifts. Each table will be priced to cover the cost of materials and instruction. All are welcome.

Blue Christmas: 4 p.m. The United Methodist Church is hosting a Blue Christmas ,a Service of Healing. This service reminds us we are never alone with our pain and sadness that many of experience at this time of the year. It a wonderful up lifting service you will truly enjoy. Please come join us for this special service and bring a friend. All are welcome! Located: 1 Chapel Place ( one block behind Dunkin’ Donuts) Pepperell.

Safety awareness for women: 1 p.m. Pepperell Police Officer Haylie Boutwell will teach women tips on how to be safe and stay aware of signs of danger in your surroundings. During this hectic time of year, it is easy to let your guard down while shopping and running your holiday errands. Come by and learn a few new tips from a lady with lots of experience on how to keep safe. This event is free of charge.

Giving Tree for

Babbitassit residents

This holiday season, Girl Scout Troop 34840 is sponsoring a Giving Tree for the residents of Babbitassit, Pepperell’s elderly housing. The residents have been asked to identify some items they would like to receive this Christmas (valued at $20). Tags identifying the gift items are available for the community to pick up at the Senior Center. Gifts must be returned to the Senior Center, with the tag attached by Monday, Dec. 14. LOVE CARDS? We have lots of excitement to choose from: Mondays at 9:30 a.m. play Hand and Foot; Tuesdays at 10 a.m. is Cribbage and 12:30 p.m. is Gin Rummy.

LOVE YOGA? You can come to the center on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. for Yoga with Patsy and Thursdays at 9 a.m. for Yoga with Elise.

WII SPORTS continues with bowling on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. and golf on Fridays at 9:30 a.m..

SINGING with the Hot Shots is at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesdays.

LUNCH — Join our lunches on Wednesday at 12 noon. There is always something delicious to eat! There is a $2 charge for Pepperell residents and a $3 charge for non-residents. Follow lunch with a bit of bingo fun!

EXERCISE — Mondays at 10 a.m. and Fridays at 11:30 a.m. with Elaine.

PICKLED PLAYERS DRAMA GROUP continues on Mondays at 1 p.m. New members always welcomed!

MEN’S GROUP — Come down to the Center for good conversation, coffee and something sweet. We will continue on Fridays at 10 a.m. on a regular basis. Get out of the house and beat those Winter blues!

SCOTCH PINE FARM — Thursday, Dec. 17, at noon we have reserved seating at Scotch Pine Farm. A cost of $10 will pay for a delicious meal (tip not included). Sign up prior to the date as seating is limited.

MOVIE MATINEE FRIDAYS AT 12:30 p.m. — Dec. 11 Saving Grace; and Dec. 18 Four Christmases. Popcorn included! Free of charge!

CHRISTMAS PARTY — Our annual Christmas party will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 23. This event is sponsored by the Pepperell Police Department. Therefore, you must be a Pepperell resident or volunteer at the Senior Center to attend. Please sign up beginning Dec. 1.

NAIL DAY — Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m. Come to the Center for some pampering. We will paint your fingernails any color you wish from our vast selection. Please sign up at the front desk. This event is free of charge.

BOOK BUDDIES — We are starting a new program for our seniors who would like books and movies delivered to them from the Lawrence Library. If you are interested, please give us a call and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
