Groton Community School would like to thank the community for its support of the Fifth Annual Groton Community Home Tour. Our gratitude goes out to participating homeowners, artisans and vendors, sponsors, ticket outlets, advertisers, member families, staff and board members and of course our patrons. All played a significant and vital role in making this a successful event.

Our appreciation goes out to this year’s sponsors: Dunkin’ Donuts, Lavender, Rose of Sharon, Kitchen Art, Feingold Investments, Middlesex Savings Bank, Platt Builders — and to our ticket outlets: Clover Farm Market, Kitchen Art, and Lavender in Groton, Rose of Sharon in Dunstable and Le Gourmet Jardin in Westford.

The home tour is Groton Community School’s most important fundraiser enabling staff to provide young children and their families with the most positive first school experience. It also serves as a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community.

In case you missed it, this year’s event featured homes spanning the centuries, from as far back as the 1700s and as recent as this decade. Visitors will long remember the 18th-century antique colonial built with such lasting construction and character that it has stood strong for 275 years.

Decorated for a traditional Swedish Christmas, participants were definitely in the holiday spirit after visiting this home! The tour also featured an incredible custom contemporary home which truly stands out for its balance with nature and deep respect for the environment.

Another home offered breath-taking views, all the way to Boston on a clear day, from atop a former ski hill. From the inviting farmer’s porch or the cozy outdoor hot tub, participants could not help but be affected by the tranquil and elegant setting of a beautiful home that offers an easy walk to a neighboring castle And then there was the antique treasure greeting you with an immense foyer, adorned with a historical mural and 10 foot ceilings.

Thank you everyone for supporting Groton Community School! We hope to see you again next year!
