Freshman Dylan Osgood scored both goals in the first half as the Trojans slipped past the stubborn Panthers. Goaltenders Will Nocka and Jake Lurvey combined to make four saves to register the shutout as each played a half. Parker goalkeeper Jacob Gesin turned in a strong effort.

Derek McCaffrey led the way with three goals while Richard Pomeroy, Nate Pomeroy and Jake Liliedahl added a goal each. Goaltender T.J. Van Riper made four saves to post the shutout.

Senior Kasey Pelletier scored two goals as the Lady Crusaders posted an impressive MidWach C victory over the Hawks. Courtney Schwabe and Eriki Eipp added single goals. Kelley Corey dished out a pair of assists while Natalie Cain added one. Goaltender Breezy Riposa made three saves to backstop the win. Center-forward Crosby Enright turned in a strong effort.

The Lady Crusaders captured their season opener impressively as they placed five consecutive runners between second and sixth.

Gardner’s Stephanie Ellis finished on top with a clocking of 17:46, but the Lady Crusaders iced the win with the next five finishers.

Micaela Lacombe was second in 19:01, Molly Pratt was third in 19:05, Francesca Coveno was fourth in 19:15, Becky Glennie was fifth in 19:31 and Haddon Martinez was sixth in 19:32.

Also finishing in the top 15 for Groton-Dunstable were Stephanie Dodson (10th, 20:38), Emma Ordemann (12th, 21:00) and Madison Coveno (13th, 21:04).

Zach Dhionis shot an even-par 35 at Groton Country Club to pace the win. Alex McCabe won his match 7-2, shooting a 37. Brendan Hunter (38) and Garrett Quimby (39) also played well for the Crusaders, capturing their matches 6.5-2.5.
