PEPPERELL — Dennis J. Malley, 52, a lifelong resident of Pepperell passed away Sept. 11, 2009 at Nashoba Hospital in Ayer after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 11, 1956, the son of Richard Malley and the late Rita (Archambault) Malley. He attended the Pepperell schools and was a self-employed carpenter and roofer. He loved the Patriots.

Members of his family include his father, Richard J. Malley of Pepperell, three brothers, Richard Malley of Nashua, N.H., Thomas Malley and sister-in-law Jean Malley of Nashua, N.H., and Michael Malley of Pepperell; one sister, Shirley Malley of Lowell and her partner, Diane Muccioli.

He is predeceased by his mother Rita Malley and his brother Robert Malley.

Also surviving are two nephews and their spouses, Christopher and Nina Malley, Timothy and Melissa Malley; a niece and her spouse Kimberly and Nicholas Buccarelli and a great niece Ava Malley all of N.H. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. A special thanks to the Nashoba Hospice Care and his loving friends and caregivers, Mike and Vickie Tobin of Pepperell.

Funeral services were held Sept. 15, 2009 at the Marchand Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant Street, Pepperell. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pepperell. For on line condolences visit www.marchandfuneralhome.com.
