The Harvard Firefighters’ mini-muster on the 4th of July was a great success this year, with numerous teams competing in the “polo” event. Everyone (participants and onlookers alike) got soaked and had smiles on their faces at the end, which is of course the primary objective of the event.
While we didn’t keep precise track of each contest or have a formal playoff structure, we would like to note the following teams who participated, with apologies to any we may have missed, or spelling errors: The Falcons, The Neon Flames, The Ginkles, The Millies, The Power Puff Penguins, Foosis, The Brownies, The Atomic Beavers, The Jiggling Jigglers, The Ballers, The Slippery Penguin Mustard Stars, The Hot Tamales, We Are Awesome, The Billy McNamara Experience, Big Oak, Man Candy, The N00b Pwners, Wooden Table, The Gangstas, The Indestructible Hedgehogs, The Sullies, Awesome #2, The Luk Haters, and We Pone.
Special note to the Ballers, who won five separate contests, Man Candy for going undefeated (though it should be noted there were no other teams consisting solely of 16-year-old boys), and The Slippery Penguin Mustard Stars for the most creative team name.
And special thanks to Dennis who jumped in to help try and keep track of things when it was a little chaotic during the event.
