BOSTON — Rep. Robert S. Hargraves has announced that the Pepperell Housing Authority has been awarded $17,313 and the Groton Housing Authority has been awarded $14,839, which will be used to purchase and install 42 new toilets as part of the Low-Flow Toilet Procurement Project sponsored through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD).

“This award will help the Pepperell and Groton housing authorities save money in the long run, and it makes good sense,” Hargraves said.

Funding for the program stipulates that the housing authorities install the new toilets this year.
