Masons open house: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Caleb Butler Lodge will celebrate the 150th Masonic Anniversary with an Open House at the Caleb Butler Lodge, 11 Sculley Rd., Ayer. (Off West Main Street heading towards Devens.)
New Neighbor Fair: 10 a.m., This first time event will be held in Town Hall. Come and meet some of the neighbors who help to make Ayer the town it is!

The Ayer Community Adult Ed. Program, in conjunction with the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District Community Ed. Program, will again be offering beginner Billiard classes taught by BCA accredited instructors. There are three six-hour sessions scheduled. Lenten Services at The Federated Church of Ayer
During the next few weeks, give yourself a gift of peace. Come to the Lenten Meditation Services at The Federated Church of Ayer. The Federated Church is a congregation that includes American Baptist, United Methodist, and United Church of Christ members as well as those from other faith traditions. Everyone is invited to join in our worship.
The 30-minute Lenten Meditation Services will be held at 7 p.m. and includes 10 minutes of meditation music. They began on Ash Wednesday and will end Thursday, April 2. The Tenebrae Service will be on Maundy Thursday, April 9, and Good Friday Service will be at noon on April 10.
This is a place to find small lights of meaningfulness in dark, dark times; a space for honoring questions, doubts and grief in a life of faith. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you are always welcome here.
The Federated Church, A Beloved Community in Ayer, welcomes your visit. We are located at 21 Washington Street (across from the old fire station). The church is handicapped accessible. You may call 978-772-2044 for more information or just come by for our Lenten Meditation evening services or our Sunday morning worship services which begin at 9:45 a.m. Sunday School for children is held during church services. The middle school-age youth meet at 9 a.m. so that they are able attend the worship service.

Devens Advisory Committee
Meeting schedule: April 6 and 21, at 7 p.m. at 33 Andrews Parkway in Devens. Meetings are to be held in the first floor conference room except on April 21 when the meeting will be in conference room 2.
The Ayer/Shirley Lions Club holds their general meeting on the fourth Monday each month at the Nashoba Club Restaurant in Ayer. Social hour is 6 p.m. and meeting at 6:30 p.m. New members are welcome.
Psalms and Slippers
Do you want a church where you can feel welcome just as you are?
Come to Psalms and Slippers on the first and third Thursdays of each month. Supper at 6 p.m.; worship at 7 p.m., held at the Old Town Hall in Shirley Center. Children are welcome, even in their PJs!
This is a new worship experience from Trinity Chapel, the Episcopal Church in Shirley Center.
Well Adult Clinic
Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Ayer Board of Health, will hold a Well Adult Clinic free of charge for the general public on Wednesday, April 15 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Senior Center, 18 Pond St., Ayer. A Cleaner Ayer
The annual town wide roadside trash pickup, A Cleaner Ayer, will be held Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to noon. Individuals, families, service organizations, schools, churches, scouts and 4-H groups are invited to save the date and plan to participate. Trash bags and gloves will be provided from 8:30 a.m. at Depot Square, next to the Medicine Shoppe and commuter rail station on Main Street, and street assignments made.
