Ayer Youth Baseball & Softball registrations
Ayer Youth Baseball & Softball is accepting registrations for those interested in playing baseball/softball for the upcoming season. Baseball players of all abilities, between the ages of four and 12 years old (as of 4/30/09) and softball players grades three through nine are encouraged to play. Register online at www.ayerbaseball.com. In person registration will take place on Jan. 20 at the Page Hilltop cafeteria between 6 and 8 p.m. Those who played last year will receive information regarding the upcoming season in the mail.
Registrations must be received by Feb. 1 to ensure a roster spot. Coaches and volunteers are also needed at all levels. Fill out a coaching or volunteer form on our website for coaching or volunteering. Blaze tryouts
The North Central Blaze AAU girls and boys basketball club will be holding tryouts for the spring 2009 season on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Shirley Middle School, and on Sunday, Jan. 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fitchburg High School. There is a $15 tryout fee to cover the cost of renting the gym space. Roster openings exist or teams are being formed in the following divisions: Boys 12U, 13U and 14U; Girls 10U/fifth grade, 11U/sixth grade; 12U, seventh grade; 13U/eighth grade; 14U/ninth grade; 15U/10th grade.
