TOWNSEND — Townsend Scouts will hold their annual Scouting for Food tomorrow.

Scouts delivered their telltale blue bags this past Saturday with a paper inside saying that they will pick up the bags this Saturday, Nov. 8.

Townsend Ecumenical Outreach (TEO) is in desperate need of food due, in part, to the Boston food bank being in very short supply. The total poundage TEO can purchase from the food bank is limited.

The TEO food pantry has more families needing help now than they’ve ever had before. It is TEO’s hope that once again Townsend residents will give what nonperishable food items they can to help their neighbors.

Founded more than 20 years ago, TEO is comprised of volunteers from Townsend’s churches.
