TOWNSEND — Adeline A. (Fallavollita) Vieira, 85, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at the Highlands Health Care Center in Fitchburg.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John R. Vieira Jr.; three sons, Robert D. Vieira and his wife, Patricia Kenneally, of Pepperell, John D. Vieira, of Leominster, and Paul D. Vieira and his wife, Sharon, of Pepperell; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela M. and John Craggy, of Brookline, N.H.; a brother, Robert Fallavollita, of Westwood; and a sister, Ann Benda, of Jamaica Plain. She also leaves five grandchildren, Thomas Vieira, Charlotte Vieira, Lucas Vieira, Ethan Craggy and Emmette Craggy.

She was the sister of the late Tony Fallavollita and Katherine Stoico, both of Lexington; Paul Fallavollita, of New Jersey; Henry Fallavollita, of Boston; and Rose Ferraro, of Marblehead.

Mrs. Vieira was born in Boston on Oct. 22, 1922, a daughter of Robert and Angelina (Latanzio) Fallavollita. She resided in Acton for 22 years before moving to Townsend in 1987.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing bingo.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, June 28 at St. John’s Church, in Townsend, followed by burial in Hillside Cemetery, Townsend.
