TOWNSEND – Begining July 1, 2008 the curbside trash and recycling will be picked up G. W. Shaw & Son, Inc. The trash collection schedule will remain the same. However, G.W. Shaw will be picking up single-stream recycling every other week starting July 8, 2008. Single-stream recycling consists of putting all your recycling (paper, cans, plastics and glass) out at the same time. Trash will continue to be picked up on a weekly basis on the same day as it has been.
