Grain of Truth: 1-3 p.m., Fruitlands Museum, Prospect Street, Harvard; Woodworker, author and Northeastern University professor Harvey Green will sign copies of his book, “Grain of Truth: Wood and the Human Condition.”
Morning bird walk: 7:30-9:30 a.m., meet at Rail Trail parking lot in downtown (Court Street) Groton; Hike with Peter Alden and the Friends of Willard Brook to seek out local birds in the height of the breeding season.
