As retirement draws close, I would like to thank both the communities of Groton and Dunstable for the support, encouragement and love they have shown me over the past 27 years. I have loved my time in the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District and am grateful to those of you who made my tenure here possible.
It is with mixed feelings that I begin the next phase of my life. I am looking forward to retiring, knowing that I will be free to do all those things one never has time for. However, I will miss the sounds of kids in the halls, the chatter of the staff in the teachers’ room and the amazing work that goes on in the classroom. I will miss planning special events with the Parent Organization and working with the School Council to improve excellence in education. I will miss working with the administrative team and curriculum leaders to develop a vision to ensure quality education from Pre-K to 12.
But what I will miss most are the people I have met and the friendships made along the way. You are the heart and soul of any organization and schools are no exception. It has been my privilege and pleasure to work with so many of you over the years. Thank you for your support, dedication and commitment to the children of Groton and Dunstable. I will hold dear the many memories made over the last 27 years and keep them close to my heart.
