AREA – Murphy Insurance Agency is pleased to announce that seniors from eleven local high schools were awarded scholarships from the Agency.
The students were chosen based on their academic record, financial need and demonstration of Murphy Insurance’s four core values of initiate, insight, innovate and integrity during their high school years.
“The scholarship committees and administration at each school did an excellent job in selecting students who have demonstrated our agency values” said Dennis F. Murphy, Jr., CEO. “These students have distinguished themselves from their peers, and I’m confident that each will be successful in their studies and careers.” Local recipients were:
* Ayer High School: Michael Ahern of Ayer attending Lasell College.
* The Bromfield School: Kathryn Kennedy of Harvard attending College of the Holy Cross.
* Groton-Dunstable High School: Andrea Perry of Groton attending Salve Regina.
