REGION — The Bromfield boys track team earned a strong fourth-place finish in the District E Class C Championships by scoring 51 points.

Max Flaton picked up the Trojans’ lone first-place finish on the day when he prevailed in the 2-mile run.

Conor Garrison enjoyed a productive day with a second in the 110 high hurdles and a fifth in the triple jump.

Sam Dorward earned an individual third-place finish in the mile run, and was also a member of the Trojans’ third place 4 X 800 relay team, along with Ben Waldman, Tyler Papazian and Brendan Chen.

Picking up fourth-place finishes for Bromfield were Greg Wenger in the 100 meters, Waldman in the 400 meters, and Alex Calderwood in the 2-mile. Nick Kronauer added a fifth in the mile.

Bromfield also earned a fourth-place finish at the MidWach D League Championships.

Dorward struck gold when he set a new meet record by clocking a 4:39.49 in the mile.

Flaton finished second in the 2-mile, while Garrison was third in the 300 intermediate hurdles.

Picking up fifth-place finishes for the Trojans were Wenger in the 100 meters, Garrison in the triple jump, and the 4 X 100 relay team of Wenger, Kevin Molinaro, Thany Alexander and Andrew Ojemann.

Adding sixth-place finishes were Ojemann in the 200 meters as he set a new school record with a time of 24.93, and Garrison in the long jump.
