Annual Spring Early Learning Art Fair: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Shirley Middle School cafeteria. The Art Fair will run until noon. A pizza party will follow, and a concert with Chuck and Mud will be offered after the meal. This event is free.

Monday, June 9

Meet and Greet: 9:30 to 11 a.m., Main Street Café, Groton. This event is hosted by the Groton-Dunstable Alliance for Youth. Project Lyme-Aid coordinator Cheryl Smith and Lyme disease experts from the Nashoba Valley Medical Center will speak and offer free tick identification and removal kits.

School Choice openings

LITTLETON — The Littleton public schools is accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year through the School Choice program.

Non-resident students are encouraged to apply. The following slots are available: grade one, three slots; grade two, two slots; grade three, two slots; grade four, two slots; grade five, two slots; grade eight, six slots; and grade 10, five slots.

An Open House will be held June 3, from 5 to 6 p.m., in the Littleton Middle School cafeteria to showcase the district’s academic programs, athletics, fine and performing arts, and other extra-curricular activities. Refreshments will be served.
