The weather on Friday evening was dismal, but it did not dampen the spirits of the performers or the audience as they arrived at the Nissitissit Middle School for the annual Community Talent Show, sponsored by the Pepperell Women’s Club.

Admission was free, thanks to the generosity of the Hazel Brooks Foundation, and what a wonderful and packed show, full of amazing young talent.

Tracilynne, Country Music Star, opened the show with a couple of songs from her CD “Driven” and then 22 performers took the stage competing for the $50 prize in five categories: Music, Dance, Adult Singer, Artistic Talent and Junior Singer.

The stage presence, poise and grace that was presented by these young performers was amazing; the hard work they put in certainly paid off.

The winners were:

Music — Ben Adams, 11, Cello

Dance — Amber LaBerge, 12

Junior Singer — 11 years & under — Shalee Callahan, 10

Junior Singer — 12 & older — Victoria Hunt, 15

Artistic Talent — Caitlin Pinkham, 17

Adult Singer — Rachel Barlow

Congratulations to all the winners and to all that performed in the show. You did a wonderful job. I hope you come back next year!.

To my fellow club members, a heartfelt thank you for all the hard work you put in to make all of this happen once more.

Thank you to the Hazel Brooks Foundation for the grant given to the Pepperell Women’s Club so we could offer this program for free.

To the town of Pepperell and its citizens, thank you for your support in all that we do.
