Pancake breakfast: 8 a.m. to noon, Hawthorne Brook Middle School; Hosted by Boy Scout Troop 81, with proceeds to support Troop activities. Cost $5 for adults, $3 for children 12 or under, $20 maximum per family.

Plans unveiled: 7 p.m., Congregational Church; Come see the plans for the new library and senior center, donated by Sterilite Corp., with architects J. Stewart Roberts Assoc. and Udelsman Assoc.

Paper crafting: 9 a.m. to noon (Stamp Camp), 1-9 p.m., (scrapbooking/card-making), Townsend Congregational Church; Paper crafts day to benefit Habitat For Humanity. Join the Friends

The Friends of the Townsend Seniors wish to remind members that January is annual membership month. Forms are being mailed out in the Over 60 Flyer but can also be obtained by contacting Loretta Perillo (978)597-5596. New members are also invited to join. Membership fees are $5 for Individuals, $10.00 for families, $25 for benefactors, and $100 for lifelong membership.

Completed membership forms can be dropped off at the Townsend Senior Center or mailed to Friends of the Townsend Seniors, P. O. Box 972, Townsend, MA 01474.
