In their MidWach B opener, the Lady Crusaders made a big run to draw within six points in the third quarter, but the Rangers pulled away in the second half to remain unbeaten.

Ali MacLeod led Groton-Dunstable with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Sandra Lanier added 13 points and seven rebounds. Center Eva Mahan chipped in with 10 points for the Lady Crusaders, who are now 4-3.

North Middlesex 25

The Tomahawks rolled to a 32-15 halftime lead as they improved to 5-1 for the season. Theresa Logan paced the win with 15 points, followed by Liz Conti with 12.

Kelly Donovan led the Lady Pats (1-4, 0-2) with 10 points.

Algonquin 84

North Middlesex 54

Algonquin improved to 3-4 for the season and 1-2 in MidWach A by rolling past the Patriots. Sam Bush led the Tomahawks with 21 points, followed by Kareem Kalil with 17 and Tim McDonald with 13.

Zach Trust scored 18 points, including a pair of three-pointers to pace the Patriots. Ryan Woodward finished with 12 points on four three-pointers. NM is now 1-5.

The Tigers improved to 5-2 overall and won their second consecutive MidWach D game by overcoming a 25-23 halftime deficit. Kevin Kozik led Maynard with 17 points.

Ben Brown and Josh Lyvers each scored 12 points to pace the Trojans, who are now 3-4 overall, including 1-1 in league play. Hugo Al-Homsi added 10 points.

The Trojans built a 20-point halftime lead and rolled past the Gaels, led by 26 points by Ben Brown. Josh Lyvers added 11 points.
