TOWNSEND — An American Red Cross blood drive will be held in Townsend on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
The collection will take place at the Townsend VFW Post 6583, 491 Main Street, West Townsend, from noon until 6 p.m. and will be open to the public; each presenting donor will receive a coupon good for a pound of coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts.
Anyone who is 17 or older, in good health, weighs 110 pounds or more and who has not given blood in the last 56 days may try to donate.
The American Red Cross requires a positive ID before donating.

Walk-in donors are also welcome.
