To the Fitzgerald family:

My kindergarten class at Prescott School created this tree for you. After you lost your home, my students were very concerned and curious about what happened and asked lots of questions.

One student remembered hearing on the news that a little boy donated toys to another family who lost their home in a fire. This sparked an amazing conversation full of ideas of ways to help you. They were willing to donate their own clothing, toys and even bring you money. It was clear that they all wanted to do something special to make you feel better.

My favorite idea came from Emily who said, “We could each bring them an ornament!” So I invited each child to either bring an ornament from home, make an ornament, or buy one. I think they made wonderful choices!

We all hope that you enjoy this little tree and that the ornaments help get you started in replacing those special ornaments that you lost. Happy Holidays and may the New Year bring you much happiness and good health.

Warmly,

MRS. LAURA TAYLOR
