SHIRLEY — The Planning Board has yet to hear back from the owners of Dunkin’ Donuts after they were sent a letter describing concerns and abutter complaints.

Large delivery trucks are still parking at the site, Planner Jonathan Greeno said at the board’s Nov. 15 meeting. He said his understanding of agreements with the Fredonian Street shop is that only smaller box trucks are to be used at the site.

A resident also said delivery trucks are making parking in the handicapped space dangerous.

Lynch agreed. He said it’s a safety concern. It’s the intention of the no-parking signs, which have yet to be delivered, to stop loading from the no-parking zone, he said.

The board decided to put the issue on its Dec. 6 meeting agenda and invite the owner again. The board also plans to request that the delivery trucks honor the no-parking zone even though the signs aren’t up yet. — Richard Breyer
