GROTON — Selectmen have been busy making appointments lately.
Last week, Harris McWade was named to a one-year term on the Zoning Board of Appeals; Paula Lantz was given a three-year term on the Council on Aging; and Eleanor Gavazzi was appointed to a one-year term on the Archives Committee.
On Monday, the board voted to make additional appointments:
Cynthia Thompson was named to a two-year term on the Council on Aging, on the strength of two years of volunteer work and her experience working with the elderly.
Jason Goodwin was appointed to a single-year term to the Insurance Advisory Committee, as Groton Police Patrolman’s Association representative.
Meredith Scarlet was given a three-year term on the Agricultural Commission, and Laura Pollard received a three-year posting on the Country Club and Recreation Authority. — Pierre Comtois
