Spinners tickets
Townsend Recreation has Lowell Spinners tickets available for the game on Friday, Aug. 10, 7:05 p.m. at LeLacheur Park in Lowell. The cost is $8 per ticket ($6.50 ticket plus $1.50 handling fee).

Shakespeare in town
Townsend Recreation summer theater will hold auditions for Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in the Townsend Town Hall on Wednesday, July 18, from 6-8:30 p.m. Try-outs are for students entering the seventh grade and above. Amy Albro, a student majoring in theater, has been selected as this year’s director.
If selected, it is required of you to attend rehearsals on the town common on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 6-8:30 p.m. from July 20 to Aug. 20. The show is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 22.
