SHIRLEY — Sara R. “Ruddy” (Brown) Miller, 54, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at her home after an illness.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband of 30 years, Andre D. Miller Sr.; two sons, Andre D. Miller Jr. of Fitchburg, and Peter A. Miller of Shirley; two brothers, Strickler M. Brown and Marcus K. Brown, both of Shirley; and two sisters, Kelly M. Bolden of Shirley and Sharon Baldwin of Columbus, Ohio.
She was the sister of the late James Ellis of West Memphis, Ark., and Milton K. Brown II of Mesa, Ariz.
Mrs. Miller was born at Fort Knox, Ky., on Dec. 30, 1952, a daughter of the late Milton K. and Marie E. (Croudep) Brown and resided much of her life in the Shirley area. She had also resided in Ohio for several years.
She was a 1971 graduate of Ayer High School and attended the New Hope Community Church in Ayer.
For the past 20 years, Mrs. Miller worked for the T.J. Manley Company on North Reading as a truck driver transporting mail.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 22, at the New Hope Community Church, Sandy Pond Road, Ayer. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery, Harvard Road, Shirley.
