GROTON — The Planning Board has granted site plan approval to Reedy Meadow Estates, a 27-home subdivision that straddles the Groton/Pepperell town line.
With the greater number of homes to be built on the Pepperell side of the town line, only 10 lots would be developed on 4.5 acres in Groton, with another 12 acres dedicated as open space.
The entire site straddling the Groton/Pepperell town line comprises 40 acres.
The 4-0 decision on June 14 also included approval of a number of variances to the town’s zoning bylaws, such as requiring a traffic analysis and use of granite curbing within the project.
A site plan review was required of developer John Lorden as one condition of a previous decision by the board approving a definitive plan for the project. — Pierre Comtois
