Unitarian Universalist campaigns to replace Fellowship Building

PUBLISHED: | UPDATED:

HARVARD — The Unitarian Universalist Church congregation voted to launch a capital campaign to replace its current Fellowship Building.

This vote is part of a multi-year process focused on evaluating the building and its many goals and purposes. The May 20 vote gave church fund-raisers approval to start raising funds from the church’s members and friends. The results of the campaign will be known this fall, and further decisions regarding the replacement of the building will be made in December 2007.

The Unitarian Universalist Church is the oldest church in Harvard. It will celebrate its 275th year of services in 2008. Over 200 members and friends from Harvard and many surrounding towns are part of its vibrant community. The church is a welcoming community and supports many social, service and awareness programs.
