Ayer Masonic Association monthly breakfast: 7:30 to 10 a.m., Ayer Masonic Center, 11 Sculley Rd. There will be eggs made to order or pancakes, both being served with bacon or sausage, toast, home fries, coffee and orange juice. Guests are welcome.

Wednesday, June 6

All-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner: 5 to 8:30 p.m., at Dan’s Place, 200 West Main St. Beer and wine will be available. The cost of tickets is $9 for adutls and $7 for seniors and children. Proceeds from the event, hosted by the Ayer-Shirley Lions’ Club, will benefit the Massachusetts Lions’ Eye Research Foundation.

Spaghetti supper fund-raiser: 5 to 7 p.m., Cultural Arts Center, Page Hilltop School. The proceeds from this annual fund-raiser help defray the costs of field trips and transportation for the summer vacation camp. The cost of the meal is $6 for adults and $4 for senior citizens and children under age 12.

Community Preservation Committee meeting: 7 p.m., Town Hall.

Thursday, June 7

Devens Enterprise Commission meeting: 7:30 a.m., 33 Andrews Parkway, Devens.

Planning Board meeting: 7 p.m., Town Hall.

Fourth of July Committee meeting: 7 p.m., Town Hall.

14th Lodge of Instruction: Candidate instruction, 6:45 p.m., Lodge of Instruction opening, 7:30 p.m., Ayer Masonic Center, 11 Sculley Rd. A Chicken Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by e-mailing Jr. Warden Robert Brownson at rob_brownson@yahoo.com.

Sunday, June 10

Outreach fair: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall. Representatives from the supported missions of the church will display information about the organization. They will be on hand to answer any questions parishioners might have. Brunch will follow.

Ayer Education and Recreation has begun

The school district is starting up the Ayer Education and Recreation. If there’s a class you would like to teach or take, send a 25- to 50-word proposal to hzane@ayer.k12.ma.us.

Athletic Boosters seventh annual Golf Tournament

The Ayer High School Athletic Boosters will hold the seventh annual Golf Tournament June 15, at 1:30 p.m., at the Groton Country Club. The tournament is a nine-hole best-ball, scramble format.

A barbecue dinner will follow at 4 p.m. at the Ayer Rod and Gun Club. There is still room for individual players — for a $75 fee — as well as foursomes — for a $300 fee.

Sponsors, for holes and individual contests, are also most appreciated. All proceeds help the Athletic Boosters supplement the athletic budget for Ayer High School student athletes.
