TOWNSEND — Joseph J. Perillo, 43, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the UMass-Memorial Hospital, Worcester.

Mr. Perillo was born in Lowell on Sept. 13, 1963, the son of Joseph A. and Loretta R. (Holland) Perillo and attended the Townsend public schools. He had served his country in the U.S. Army.

He had worked as a machine operator at the Sterilite Corp. in Townsend and had worked as a landscaper in the area. Besides his father of Newburyport and his mother of Townsend he is survived by a son, Shawn Lefebvre of Florida, and his sister, Cheryl Wheeler of New Ipswich, N.H. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 30, at St. John’s Church in Townsend.
