This November, voters may very well be asked to vote on a proposed amendment to the state constitution that would define marriage in the commonwealth “only as the union of one man and one woman.”

This is wrong; it is absurdly discriminatory to allow people to vote on the rights of a group to which they don’t belong. When one American may tell another that they do not enjoy the same rights as other citizens, our purported democracy is very sick.
