A note to Bill Miller’s many friends:
Bill is still at Emerson Hospital in Concord. He has a private room, No. 618, on the sixth floor of the north building. He has been fighting pneumonia, although his doctor now indicates that it seems about conquered.
Unfortunately, Bill is not as strong as he was a few weeks ago, but he seems to be in no pain. Bill is enthusiastic that he might be transferred soon to the Life Care facility in Littleton for the needed rehabilitation.
Bill also made it clear that he regrets not participating in Groton’s Memorial Day exercises this year.
Meanwhile, I’m sure that he would love to have some visitors and a few cheer-up cards. Just as our friend, Bill, would sign off his weekly notes to you — Semper Fi.
Thanks to all.
